About the Opportunity
Talent Harbour is recruiting a Sheet Metal Worker for a highly automated bulk grain export terminal located on Ridley Island near Prince Rupert, British Columbia. The facility supports Western Canadian grain producers and operates in a safety-focused industrial environment where skilled trades play a vital role in maintaining critical infrastructure.

Position Summary
The Sheet Metal Worker is responsible for fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing sheet metal components used throughout the terminal. The role supports preventative maintenance, repairs, shutdown activities, and continuous improvement projects while ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
This is a full-time shift-based position. The maintenance team currently operates on a rotating 5-days-on, 2-days-off schedule, with employees rotating between:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Days off rotate according to the maintenance schedule.
Schedule subject to operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate, install and repair industrial sheet metal components.
Manufacture and repair chutes, hoppers, guards, ducting and custom metal assemblies.
Read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
Complete repairs during planned maintenance and equipment shutdowns.
Work collaboratively with Operations and Maintenance while also being able to work independently.
Maintain accurate documentation.
Follow all safety policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Red Seal Sheet Metal Worker certification preferred; apprentices may also be considered.
Industrial sheet metal experience preferred.
Strong fabrication and installation skills.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Ability to work shifts and move throughout a large industrial facility.
Ability to work independently and contribute positively to an established team.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
